Actor Zac Efron has appealed to the producers at Glee for a guest role on the show because he's a "huge fan" of Lea Michele.
Efron previously showed off his singing chops in both Hairspray and High School Musical, but after working with Glee actress Michele on the set of their upcoming film New Year's Eve, he's eager for another chance to star alongside the beauty on her hit U.S. TV series - and he's hoping executives will cast him as a blood thirsty criminal.
He tells celebrity blog PerezHilton.com, "I’m a huge fan of Glee and a huge fan of Lea Michele's work. It looks so fun. I would love to (be on it). Have they had a serial killer yet? It’d be fun to sing about."
The popular high school musical show has already featured a number of guest stars during its three-year run - among them Gwyneth Paltrow, Neil Patrick Harris, John Stamos and Kristin Chenoweth. And Latin pop stars Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan have both recently signed on for roles in the show next year (12).

Perez Hilton: Superfan did nothing to uncover the 'real' Lady Gaga
‘You know the real me!’ declared Lady Gaga to her superfan Perez Hilton at the top of Perez Hilton: Superfan. The scene was set for a warts-and-all look at the woman under the meat dress (etc) as the bitchy celebrity blogger and ‘self-appointed queen of all media’ promised an access-all-areas insight into the world’s best-dressed pop star.
The pair do, after all, go way back, back to the days when he was the big name on the poster and she was just a support muppet at his parties.
But though they were easy in each other’s company, chatting backstage and in a rented kitchen – Gaga is a dab hand with tomatoes – this was a showbiz promo by any other name, the deepest we got into Gaga’s past being a riff on past nicknames. Turns out she could have been Lady Loopy or Lady Germ (after her surname Germanotta), had earlier tags stuck.
Gaga herself was affable and charming, sweet to her dazzled fans. But she was buried under the multiple layers of her performance artist guise. Even sharing a bed with Hilton, she was dolled up to the nines.
She’s pulled a neat trick: she’s globally famous, yet take away the elaborate make-up and costuming and you could pass her in the street and not bat a false eyelash. Perez was a pushover, suckered by the star machine. The ‘real’ Lady Gaga? Haven’t a clue.

Kelly Rowland and Perez Hilton get you through tea break chit-chat
Three cheers for Kelly Rowland – the plucky popster who has made the most of her good X Factor fortune by using it to relaunch her pop career. Who can blame her? She’s only 30. Too early for a full-time career on the reality TV/panto circuit. Good luck on the Euro disco scene.
It’s clear the goal of The X Factor, for 25 per cent of the judging panel, was to bring Rowland’s pop career back from the dead – although huffing and puffing around a stage in her bra and knickers as if she was at a Zumba class and singing out of tune (as she did on Sunday’s show) seems like a funny way of doing it.

Perez Hilton teams up wth GLSEN for a night at Hammerstein
In honor of Spirit Day, a day in which Americans wear purple to speak out against bullying and show support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, the self-proclaimed "Queen of All Media," Perez Hilton, hosted a concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday, Oct. 20. His self-titled "Perez Hilton's One Night in New York City" drew a crowd of over 3,000, as well as many celebrity performers.
DJ Pauly D of Jersey Shore fame, Boyz II Men and Mary J Blige used their celebrity status for a good cause, as 100 percent of the night's proceeds were donated to the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a cause extremely dear to Hilton's heart.

With Justin Bieber's paternity suit dropped, the world is no wondering if there is more to Mariah Yeater’s claim or was it 15 minutes of fame? Her lawyers are clear that the woman is getting harassed, but most that have an up close and personal look have come out vocally calling the entire issue an alleged hope for cash. Perez Hilton Designs Shoes For Charity
Gossip columnist Perez Hilton usually spends his time snarking on celebrity fashion, but this time he's actually working to produce his own styles -- and for a good cause.
Hilton paired up with shoe retailer ShoeDazzle to create two shoes as part of its "Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity."
The first shoe Hilton designed, named "Sparkle," is a black faux suede pump with silver stud detailing on the heel, platform and dual ankle straps. The second is a casual unisex silver metallic sneaker with stud embellishments and zipper detailing, named "Shine." Both the pump and sneaker will be available on November 11th, exclusively in ShoeDazzle showrooms.

“@stacyfrancis You're definitely talented and have a great voice but, sadly, at 42 you're too old to be the pop star you said you want to be,” the gossip blogger tweeted on Wednesday.

Hilton used Adele's "Someone Like You" for his latest "Can YOU Sing?" contest in which users submit their own brand of Adele. The cover contest wrapped up yesterday with some amazing contributions. The winning Adele cover went to Charlie Puth and Emily Luther, who turned the song into a duet, as well as modified the arrangement.

New Zealand's favourite singer-songwriter is in such hot demand, Perez Hilton even wants her to play at his party.
Kimbra was invited via Twitter to perform at the Hollywood gossiper's CMJ festival party.

'Somebody That I Used To Know', a collaboration with Melbourne singer-songwriter Gotye, has been in the number one spot for six weeks — that's the longest-running number one single in Australia for 14 years.

Because Dave Grohl is basically God, we’re pretty much going to agree with anything he says. Yup.
Luckily everything he does say makes perfect sense, especially his latest comments about the very lovely Adele and how amazing she is to the music industry.
Perez Hilton reports Dave talking about the British songstress: “It’s the music. People are blown away that Adele is selling so many records. I’m not. That record is great! She's got a beautiful voice and people are shocked by actual talent."
He also used the opportunity to take a dig at the state the music industry is currently in.

According to Perez Hilton, The Flood singer was spotted dining with Xtina in Los Angeles, close to a recording studio used by the likes of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Mary J. Blige.
Chezza's apparent lunch date with the Beautiful hitmaker comes after reports that she also met up with Usher in LA, where the pair were spotted "deep in conversation" at Cole's hotel.
The Girls Aloud beauty, who has apparently re-recorded a track initially sang by her X Factor act Cher Lloyd, is also said to be gearing up to release her third solo LP by the end of 2011.

Are Kate Gosselin’s Days On TLC Numbered?
Kate Gosselin’s day on TLC are numbered – this according to Perez Hilton. The gossip blogger claimed earlier this week that Kate’s show, Kate Plus 8, may have been canceled.
“Ruh-roh. Something isn’t right,” Perez claims. “TLC unveiled their new fall schedule and looks like a certain mother of eight is missing up from the lineup. No signs of Kate Plus 8 are anywhere on the fall schedule.”
So is Kate now unemployed? Are her and her brood done entertaining the masses with their brand of crazy? RumorFix reached out to an executive at TLC who tells us Kate hasn’t gone anywhere. “New episodes begin August 8th,” she explains, adding that the new shows will air through the end of September.

Lady Gaga offered 200k for Perez Hilton chat show
Lady Gaga is being offered £200,000 to get into bed with Perez Hilton.
The 'Edge of Glory' singer - known for her kooky exploits, which have seen her hatch out of an egg live on stage - is wanted by ITV bosses to appear on a new show fronted by the US gossip blogger, entitled 'Sleeping with Perez'.
With TV chiefs thinking Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - will make great viewing, they are said to be prepared to "break the bank" to secure her appearance on the series.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Lady Gaga is the biggest thing in pop right now so it's normal to have to shell out more cash on her. It's going to be a fab show."
Other stars being lined up to appear on 'Sleeping with Perez' include Katy Perry, Kelly Rowland and Enrique Iglesias, although it is thought they will only be paid £140,000.
Bosses at ITV are reportedly hoping Perez's unique relationships with a whole host of celebrities will lead to fascinating viewing, as they may be more willing to open up to him.
The show - which is being produced by STV - is due to air on December 7.

Kate Gosselin: It's my birthday, my surprise birthday episode. We, my best friend Jamie surprises me and whisks me away to New York. And I don't know how she got away with surprising me because nobody surprises me. And pulled it off.
Perez Hilton: You're like Oprah that way, she does not like surprises.
Kate Gosselin: No, I need to plan everything. And so when she showed up I was like, ″Whoa, what is going on?″
Perez Hilton: How did that feel like to just kind of surrender to your friends surprise and go with the flow?
Kate Gosselin: Well it was — after I got over the initial shock I mean, she caught me when I was coming back from the bus stop with no makeup on and I had just been running so I had my running stuff on, and I was all like in after school mode and she appeared. And I got over the initial shock and I was like, whoa. I mean, I spend plenty of nights here by myself after the kids are in bed, you know just me. So I was like, I got over the shock and I was like, ″Wait, this will be fun.″ Of course until she mentioned going to a club and dancing, then that was a whole different story. But yeah –

Perez Hilton Slams Factory Farming
“What are they trying to hide?” asks renowned gossip blogger Perez Hilton in his brand-new PETA video slamming Florida State Senate Bill 1246, which, if passed, would criminalize filming during undercover investigations of cruelty to farmed animals.
In the video, the Florida native explains—over graphic video footage—why the legal right to record video footage of factory farms is so important: It allows investigators to alert law-enforcement officials to illegal animal abuse.
“A citizen’s right to document cruelty to animals—wherever it occurs—is crucial to helping local, state, and federal officials enforce anti-cruelty laws,” says Hilton. “What we need are more cameras on factory farms, not fewer.”
Hilton’s video contains footage from previous PETA investigations in Iowa, Oklahoma, and West Virginia. These investigations documented shocking animal abuse and led to multiple charges of livestock neglect and abuse and even counts of felony cruelty to animals. Bill 1246—and similar pieces of legislation in Iowa and Minnesota—would keep this kind of illegal animal abuse out of sight, effectively giving carte blanche to animal abusers on factory farms. Hilton joins PETA in calling on all concerned consumers to speak out against these new bills.
Hilton isn’t the only celebrity to tackle these bills; Iowa native Cloris Leachman has condemned Iowa’s similar House File 589.

Perez Hilton praises Kids of 88
The celebrity blogger says New Zealand duo Kids of 88 were the stand out act at his One Night In Austin event at the recent SXSW festival in Texas.
He had previously praised pop star Zowie, who shared the bill with Kids of 88 and a line-up of artists including MNDR, Liz Phair, Dirty Vegas and FrankMusik at One Night in Austin.
Hilton said: "Without a doubt, Kids Of 88 provided the most explosive set at our One Night In Austin event. We can safely say that Kids Of 88 were the breakout act of this year's SXSW."
Kids of 88 are Jordan Arts and Sam McCarthy and the pair have had several hit singles in New Zealand, including My House and Downtown.
Hilton named Zoe "Zowie" Fleury as one of the top five artists to watch in 2011 after posting her first single Broken Machine on his website late last year.
After she was confirmed to play music showcase SXSW in Austin, Texas, the internet king personally requested she play at his exclusive showcase.
"He asked us to play and it was a really good show. He was standing side of stage singing along the whole time," she told Stuff.co.nz.
"He's really lovely, really nice. He's really cheeky and nice."
She has since scored the opening slot for Katy Perry for her upcoming New Zealand shows.

Perez Hilton: No man can repair the damage Ashley Cole did to Cheryl
The Geordie beauty divorced her footballer husband Ashley Cole, 30, in September and is now hanging out with Dancing With The Stars pro Derek Hough, 25.
'Neither Derek Hough nor Ashley Cole is a good match for Cheryl,' says Perez, 32.
Cheryl, 27, and Derek have never confirmed they're an item - and Perez doesn't think they're going to be walking up the aisle.
'Derek is more of a friend,' he says.
'No one can repair the damage that Ashley did to that girl!
'I doubt Derek's relationship with Cheryl was ever that serious.'

Perez Hilton: Jen Aniston Talked to Me About Brad & Angelina
Jennifer Aniston recently revealed that she ran into celebrity blogger Perez Hilton in a Los Angeles parking garage, and now the gossip monger is spilling all about their conversation.
While Aniston told Ellen DeGeneres that she confronted Hilton about the mean things he says, Perez says he actually got Aniston to dish on her feelings about her ex Brad Pitt, and what she really thinks about Angelina Jolie.
According to Life & Style, when Perez asked Aniston point-blank if she hates Jolie, "Jen said, 'Look, that was so long ago, and we've moved on and we're all adults,'" Hilton told the mag.
Aniston reportedly confirmed that she still has a decent relationship with Pitt, who she split from in 2005. "I still talk to Brad and everything's fine." Hilton claims the actress told him.
The blogger said he also asked the Just Go With It star about her current relationship status, to which Aniston said that those who assume she is lonely have it all wrong.
"She told me that she dates a lot," Hilton revealed. "And just makes sure not to go anywhere public."
As for Aniston's insistence that life is good, Hilton says she more than convinced him.
"I believe what she has to say. I think she really has moved on."

Perez Hilton Joins Match.com
It looks like just because you’re a famous celebrity blogger, it doesn’t guarantee that you’ll find love—at least that is what Perez Hilton is claiming.
The gossip blogger recently announced that he would be joining Match.com in order to try and find himself a man that met his standards, and he announced his new adventure on Twitter.
Unfortunately for Hilton, the site keeps deleting him, as they are worried that it’s not actually him, but someone attempting to impersonate the gossip cop. He recently told his fans, “Yes, it’s really me. I joined. Why not? Nothing ventured, nothing gained. But, please, STOP deleting my photos! It’s ME! Ha” Hilton went on to say that he would be looking into another dating site, OKCupid, after a fan recommended it to him.
Although Hilton seems to think that his joining was quite normal, many fans were shocked and wondered why he needed a dating website at all. “I’m really surprised that u joined anyway.
I thought u’d have a line to date u,” tweeted one fan. Another said, “U don’t need a website 2 find love. Who wouldn’t love u?”
