Three cheers for Kelly Rowland – the plucky popster who has made the most of her good X Factor fortune by using it to relaunch her pop career. Who can blame her? She’s only 30. Too early for a full-time career on the reality TV/panto circuit. Good luck on the Euro disco scene.
It’s clear the goal of The X Factor, for 25 per cent of the judging panel, was to bring Rowland’s pop career back from the dead – although huffing and puffing around a stage in her bra and knickers as if she was at a Zumba class and singing out of tune (as she did on Sunday’s show) seems like a funny way of doing it.
