Perez Hilton: 'Russell Brand Is Using Katy Perry For Publicity'

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has hit out at the ex-husband of his close friend Katy Perry accusing him of “using” the star to create “publicity for his show” in the US.

The comedian's new TV show Brand X hasn't been well received in the US so far and Perez believes that his accidental joke about Katy giving him “a***-ache” for the last year was a “smart” move.
Asked about the comment Perez told Closer magazine: "No it doesn't annoy me, I think he's being smart.
He's using her for publicity for his show.It's a good tactic.”
