Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., isn't the only one channeling Paul Ryan these days.
Gossip blogger and TV personality Perez Hilton will take on the vice presidential nominee in his debut this weekend in NEWSical, the off-Broadway musical that features a revolving cast of performers skewering the news and the people in it.
"I get to play myself, I get to play some fictional characters and I also play some real-life people, and one of those people that I play is Paul Ryan," he told USA TODAY in an interview at Rock the Vote's party at the Democratic National Convention. Hilton said he channels Ryan this way: "I have a really good wig. I do a few push-ups and I run a marathon in 90 seconds backstage."

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton to release first 'Pop Up!' music compilation through Opus Label
Entertainment blogger Perez Hilton announced on Tuesday that he will be releasing his first album compilation entitled Pop Up! #1 through L.A.-based music group, Opus Label. Pop Up! will feature 18 tracks from rising electronic and pop acts like Kerli, My Name is Kay, The Cataracs, and others. The Hilton-curated album will be released traditionally on CD and digitally on iTunes as well as through the “Perez Hilton Music Tee Series” on Aug. 7.
Billboard describes the innovative “Music Tee Series” as an alternative means of getting music where listeners can “purchase music via a collection of t-shirts and tank tops with album-inspired artwork on the front and a digital hangtag that allows customers to download the compilation as well as artist biographies and photographs.” These music t-shirts will be available in stores throughout the country and online.

Perez Hilton sued for＄500,000 for slandering Angelina Jolie's ring designer
Perez Hilton, an American blogger and television personality, is sued for 500,000 dollars for slandering Robert Procop, Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring designer, according to the Wrap Tuesday.
Hilton posted on his Coco Perez offshoot site that a customer called Roy Allenstein accused Procop of fraud, for he found that the diamond necklace purchased from Procop was only 17.62 carats instead of supposedly being 25.5 carats.
And Allenstein was awarded damages of 89,000 dollars, he added.
But Procop’s attorney said no judgment was rendered against his client, and there was no trial that alleged Procop defrauded a customer.
The suit was filed Wednesday in Los Angeles. “The statements that Plaintiff was ‘guilty’ of fraud in connection with his jewelry business and that a court had awarded a judgment against him for that fraud is libelous on its face,” it reads. “Those statements expose Plaintiff to hatred, contempt, ridicule and obloquy and they naturally have a tendency to injure Plaintiff in his occupation as a jeweler and jewelry designer.”
Procop is now suing Hilton for damages totaling over 500,000 dollar to “punish and deter defendant from engaging in such conduct in the future.”

WWE Raw Preview: Tag Title Re-Match, Perez Hilton To Appear
Tonight’s WWE Raw SuperShow takes place from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and a few matches/segments have been announced.
WWE today booked a rematch for the WWE Tag Team Titles where new champions Primo & Epico will defend their belts against Air Boom (Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston). At a house show last night the WWE made the decision to switch the titles and with a rematch booked for tonight’s show, it does make you wonder why they couldn’t have just gone with the title change tonight on television instead.
Announced on last week’s RAW was a United States Title defence for Zack Ryder against Jack Swagger but with Ryder’s “injury” angle at the hands of Kane that has been put in doubt. Plus an angle out of John Laurinaitis declaring that CM Punk shouldn’t have won his match against Jack Swagger last week on RAW (which was actually a genuine mistake by the referee but is being played into an angle) is expected to emerge.
Brodus Clay and Chris Jericho will most likely get more air time.
